What types of demolition do you handle?
We handle light and small-scale demolition: deck removal, shed demolition, interior selective demo (kitchens, bathrooms, basements), concrete removal (driveways, patios, walkways), detached garage demolition, and chimney removal. We do not handle full house demolitions or large commercial structures.
How much does demolition cost?
Demolition costs depend on the project type and scope. Small shed removals start at $300. Deck demolition runs $500-2,500. Interior demo runs $500-3,000. Concrete removal is $3-6 per square foot. Do you handle debris removal?
Yes — debris removal is always included in our demolition pricing. We are not a demo-only company. We tear it down AND haul it away. Your site is left clean and broom-swept when we are done.
Do I need a permit for demolition in Massachusetts?
For most demolition work in Massachusetts, yes — you need a demolition permit from the local building department. Interior demo on non-load-bearing walls typically does not require a permit. Shed and deck removal varies by town. We can advise you on the permit process for all 13 towns in our service area.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. McDumpsters is fully licensed and insured. We carry commercial auto and general liability insurance. We are happy to provide proof of insurance for your records or your HOA.
Can you do demolition and provide a dumpster?
Yes! Since we also run a dumpster rental business, we can provide a demolition dumpster for your project if you are doing some of the work yourself, or we can handle the entire demo and hauling. Demolition dumpster rental starts at $350 for a 15-yard container.
